DCTweetup is doing a mini-fundraiser for Alabama disaster relief and help out our friend
Timothy Williamson (@LAMeetsDC), president of the University of
Alabama's National Capital Chapter (@DCBamaFans). Since April 27 when
the devastating tornados struck and leveled several towns in Alabama,
including Tuscaloosa, home of the Crimson Tide, Tim has has spent
countless hours and many sleepless nights coordinating and/or assisting
local relief efforts.
What is #DCTweetup?
#DCTweetup is a ‘non’-networking event for locals to put a face to a
Twitter handle. It’s a relaxing evening of networking with your
neighbors, local business owners and meeting new friends. This is not
your typical ’state what you do & hand over your business card’
event. #DCTweetup is for the introverted & extroverted alike to
